New Jersey, also known as the Garden State, has the highest proportion of undocumented workers in the nation at 22% and arguably the most diverse immigrant and undocumented population.
NJ would lose about $79.3 billion annually and its gross domestic product would decrease about 8.9% if undocumented immigrants were deported.
